Channels & Use

  • Technicians Room: day-to-day updates, questions, photos.
  • Jobs/Projects: specific job threads for complex work.
  • Safety: incidents, near misses, safety alerts.

Status & Availability

  • Set status if off the road or unavailable; update when back online.
  • Share delays early (traffic, weather, breakdowns) and update ETAs.

Updates & Escalations

  • Post job blockers with photos and a brief description; include job number and address.
  • Tag your Team Leader for urgent help; use calls for immediate situations.

Message Templates

  • Delay: “Job 12345 – 22 King St: running 15 mins late (traffic). New ETA 10:45. No safety issues.”
  • Hazard: “Job 67890 – live wires in roof void. Stopped work. Request advice/contractor.”
  • Finish: “Job 54321 completed. Photos and notes uploaded. Client briefed on after-care.”
